Silence please

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/01/01/opinion/sunday/the-joy-of-quiet.html?_r=1

When I was young, I had no conception of the possibility of something like Google. My young daughter perhaps has no conception of a world without Google. For me it's wonder when it can provide an answer, any answer. To my daughter, it's sometimes frustrating when Google cannot read her mind to give her the answer to the question she is asking. Beyond all the wonders and frustrations, can we imagine a world tomorrow where some future information device can compress and condense our information stream and help us with the process of reflecting upon it, meditating and ferreting out the meaning from it..
